Accessibility Statement

This is the official accessibility statement for KP Design.

1. Access keys

Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site. On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key.

All pages on this site define the following access keys:

  • Access key 1 - Skip to Content
  • Access key 2 - Skip to Menu
  • Access key 3 - Home
  • Access key 4 - About
  • Access key 5 - Services
  • Access key 6 - Portfolio
  • Access key 7 - Contact
  • Access key 8 - Request For Quote
  • Access key 9 - Privacy Policy
  • Access key 0 - Accessibility Statement
  • Access key B - Blog

2. Standards compliance

a. All pages on this site have been tested using Cynthia Says. All pages passed the automated verification for both the US Federal Government Section 508 Guidelines and the priority 1, 2, and 3 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

b. All pages on this site validate as XHTML Transitional 1.0. This is not a judgement call; a program can determine with 100% accuracy whether a page is valid XHTML.

3. Links

All links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail. Links are written to make sense out of context. All links on this site (including external links) open in the same window, unless otherwise noted.

4. Images

All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes.

5. Visual Design

This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
